These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of Sshly, a native SSH client for macOS ("the App"), and the website at sshly.app ("the Site"), operated by Jonas Graf ("we", "us"). By purchasing or using Sshly you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Jonas Graf, Moosstr. 7, 78467 Konstanz, Germany. Contact: hello@sshly.app.

2. License grant

Sshly is sold as a one-time purchase granting you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App for your own purposes, including future updates to the purchased major line.

3. Payment & reseller

Orders are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Polar Software Inc. ("Polar"). Polar handles the transaction, billing, and the collection and remittance of applicable VAT / sales taxes. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Polar's buyer terms. Prices are shown at checkout; launch ("Founding") pricing is limited and may end without notice.

4. Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee — see our Refund Policy. Statutory withdrawal rights for consumers in the EU/EEA remain unaffected.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except as permitted by law; (b) remove or circumvent license or security mechanisms; (c) use the App to access systems you are not authorised to access; or (d) use the App for any unlawful purpose.

6. Intellectual property

The App, the Site, the Sshly name and logo, and all related materials are owned by us and protected by copyright and other laws. These Terms grant you a license to use the App, not any ownership of it.

7. Warranty disclaimer & limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for your license. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including liability for intent or gross negligence, or for injury to life, body or health).

8. Changes to the App or Terms

We may update the App and these Terms over time. Material changes to these Terms will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law & contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and, where applicable, the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected. Questions? Email hello@sshly.app.
